Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) affect up to one in five birthing parents, yet many struggle to access timely and effective care. Our research explores gaps in screening, systemic barriers to treatment, and innovative ways to better support caregivers during pregnancy and postpartum.

In collaboration with All Parents Welcome, Northwestern University, and New York University, this study explores the mental health needs of fathers and non-birthing parents during the perinatal period, shedding light on their experiences, challenges, and support gaps.
