Nonbirthing Caregivers

We are exploring the experiences of nonbirthing caregivers, including fathers, adoptive parents, and LGBTQ+ caregivers to examine how the current system fails to recognize their needs.

The Hidden Half: Understanding Non-Birthing Parents' Experiences with Mental Health

In collaboration with All Parents Welcome, Northwestern University, and New York University, this study explores the mental health needs of fathers and non-birthing parents during the perinatal period, shedding light on their experiences, challenges, and support gaps.
